Spirit Airlines is invoking New York City Mayoral hopeful, the embattled Anthony Weiner in a new sale of vacations to Mexico.
“The Weiner Rises Again,” features an image of a hot dog dressed as a super hero with a cape and a cell phone named “Carlos Danger,” from the sexting pseudonym used by the ex-Congressman in a new series of scandals that have surfaced this week. The sale includes Cancun and Los Cabos and ends July 26 at 11:29 p.m.
Weiner resigned from office last year when the politico’s first sexting scandal broke. He apologized to his wife and the public but the new messages from “Carlos” allegedly occurred after his mea culpa. Last year, Spirit took off on that scandal with a “Have you seen our Weiner?” sale.
