Carnival Cruise Lines is planning a major new advertising campaign that will launch in September — and it will feature photos and videos taken by its guests. The integrated advertising campaign, which will include network TV commercials and an online component, will highlight memorable moments guests have recorded on Carnival cruises.
The company created a new “Share Your Memories” Facebook tab where passengers can share photos and videos shot during a Carnival cruise for possible inclusion in the advertising campaign. Guests can upload up to four images at a time from their computers. Images must be in JPEG, GIF or TIFF format and cannot exceed more than 2MB in size, while videos can be posted using links from Youtube and Vimeo.
